When it comes to Christmas, it may be true that “everything that needs to be said has already been said.” Christians in practically every country and nearly every generation have tried to put words to their Christmas thoughts. But how can any of us truly capture the wonder of Christ’s birth? How can we reduce this incredible mystery to a few words on a page?

So we keep trying. Sounding out our words. Tweaking them. Starting over. Attempting to grasp the incomprehensibility of God becoming man to rescue sinners. And we keep listening to those who have already tried their best at comprehending the miracle, for there is always something we can learn from Christmas.
